Julián Cerdán Music School of Sanlúcar
The Julián Cerdán Music School is a music school in Sanlúcar de Barrameda open to students of all ages, from 4 years old, with no entrance examinations and a flexible, approachable methodology.
It has its origins in the Municipal Music Academy of Sanlúcar de Barrameda (linked to the Municipal Band), and its first classroom was founded in 1864 in what is now the La Victoria Cultural Centre, with Luis Ayllón as its first teacher (1864–1866). It became a private institution when the band itself adopted this same legal status.
